    Abstrakt

    Die Diskussion um Aspekte politisch-moralischer Korrektheit in der Gegenwart wird immer schärfer, umgreifender. Auch die Literatur ist längst davon betroffen, und sind es im gegenwärtigen Stadium der Debatte primär noch Werke der Gegenwartsliteratur, so ist absehbar und teilweise auch schon offenbar, dass die Diskussion dort nicht Halt machen wird. Am Beispiel des Werkes von Heinrich von Kleist wird gezeigt, welche Gefahr auch kanonischen Texten, Autoren durch Fragen nach ihrer Korrektheit droht und wie weit dadurch ästhetische Freiheit insgesamt gefährdet werden kann.

    The discussion about aspects of political-moral correctness in the present is becoming ever sharper, more all-encompassing. It has also affected literature for a long time, and while at the present stage of the debate it is primarily works of contemporary literature that are affected, it is foreseeable and in part already evident that the discussion will not stop there. Using the work of Heinrich von Kleist as an example, we will show the way in which even canonical texts and authors are threatened by questions about their correctness and to what extent this can endanger aesthetic freedom as a whole.

    Dyskusja o aspektach poprawności polityczno-moralnej w obecnych czasach staje się coraz ostrzejsza, coraz bardziej rozległa. Od dawna dotyczy ona również literatury i choć na obecnym etapie debaty chodzi przede wszystkim o dzieła literatury współczesnej, to można przewidzieć, a po części już widać, że dyskusja na tym się nie skończy. Na przykładzie twórczości Heinricha von Kleista pokazano, jakie niebezpieczeństwo grozi nawet kanonicznym tekstom i autorom ze względu na pytania o ich poprawność i w jakim stopniu może to zagrażać wolności estetycznej jako całości.
