Abstrakt

Der Bericht rekapituliert die Arbeiten der Sektion Exil, Migration, Flucht und Vertreibung, Alte und Neue Kriege – Literarische Topoi des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts bei dem Kongress der Internationalen Vereinigung für Germanistik (IVG) in Palermo am 27.–30. Juli 2021. Nach der Problematisierung der Begriffe Migranten- und Exilliteratur sowie der Hervorhebung der Flüchtlingsfigur als deren Schlüsselfigur werden einzelne Beiträge kritisch betrachtet mit der Schlussfolgerung über das Potential der Literatur, wichtigen zivilisatorischen Entwicklungen als Korrekturmittel entgegenzukommen.

The report recapitulates the proceedings of the section Exile, Migration, Flight and Expulsion, Old and New Wars - Literary Topoi of the 20th and 21st Centuries at the IVG Congress in Palermo on 27–30 July 2021. After problematising the concepts of migrant and exile literature and highlighting the refugee figure as their key figure, individual contributions are critically examined with the conclusion on the potential of literature to accommodate important civilisational developments as corrective measures.

Sprawozdanie relacjonuje obrady sekcji Wygnanie, migracja, ucieczka i wypędzenie, stare i nowe wojny - literackie toposy XX i XXI wieku na światowym kongresie germanistów (Internationale Vereinigung für Germanistik - IVG) w Palermo, 27-30 lipca 2021 r. Po sproblematyzowaniu pojęć literatury migracyjnej i emigracyjnej oraz wyeksponowaniu postaci uchodźcy jako ich kluczowej figury, omówiono krytycznie poszczególne wystąpienia. W konkluzji potwierdzono potencjał literatury w dostosowaniu się do ważnych zmian cywilizacyjnych jako swoisty rodzaj korekty.
